6th Grade Beginning Band
The 6th Grade Beginning Band is designed to allow students to develop and grow as musicians over the course of one year. At the beginning of the year, students are introduced to all of the instruments and choose the instrument that they wish to play. Throughout the year, they learn the techniques and skills required to perform music on their chosen instrument. At the end of the year, students will possess the music reading and performance skills necessary to perform music of Grade 1-2 difficulty.
The Beginning Band performs twice during the year at the Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert.
